Websites

This website is very useful to teach phonemic awareness. Explore it and have lots of fun with your students.

MEP's website Educ@tico offers a lot of resources for English teachers. Their site called Web Tools' Gallery is a great place to find a lot of resources.

Do you want to develop your students' writing skills. Despite being a site in Spanish, Tricider is a place in which you can post questions and your students write answers and interact in a written form

I love Podcasts to develop listening skills, this site is very useful for beginners... and free. The only thing is that is has British accent but I like exposing them to it!

TedEd is a great resource to improve students' listening skills with the help of

content-based videos. The thing I love the most about it is the fact that there are a lot of lessons already created and I can download the video and easily create worksheets for your students.

Ms. Ridgway is a wonderful teacher I had the opportunity to meet in 2016 and spent some time in her classroom at Bear Creek Middle School in 2017. She has developed these great podcasts with her students, and those are an amazing resource to use with our EFL students.

Isabel Perez has this great ESL site where she uploads multiple materials. The section I personally love is the one on songs. She provides songs that are popular and creates worksheets so that you can use in your classroom. What I love the most: It is free!

American English is a website from the Department of State of the USA. This specific link provides instructions and downloadable board games that can be used in EFL/ESL classes

Spiral is an interesting site in which teachers can create presentations and later have real-time interaction with their students. It is for free and activities include quick questions, team work, discussions, and questions based on video.

Spiral is a great tool to have students contribute on different topics. The teacher creates a grid and gives students a task. Students can add multiple kinds of contributions: words, links, files, video, audio, etc.
